Swahili Afro Jamboree

Swahili Afro Jamboree (SAJ) is a social platform brought into existence for a purpose of bringing together Swahili speakers and non-Swahili speakers around the globe for sharing, learning, promoting, celebrating, and educating each other about Swahili culture.

Founded in 2024 in the United States, our organization is dedicated to creating meaningful cultural exchange through events, educational initiatives, and community building.

The mission of Swahili Afro Jamboree is to enable intercultural relationship between Swahili and other cultures at a global stage in various cultural aspects including Swahili knowledge, food, music and dancing, fashion, and showcasing of Swahili trading through gathering, promotion and celebration.

Primary Objective

Bringing together Swahili speakers and non-Swahili speakers from around the globe for a purpose of sharing, interacting, learning, promoting, celebrating, and educating each other about Swahili culture.

Long-term Goal

Supporting global efforts aimed at spreading and increasing deep understanding of Swahili culture and growing Swahili speakers from current 230 million to 300 million by 2030.
